Work+Shelter
Work+Shelter seeks to drive change through job creation by paying a fair wage and providing job training for Indian women working in the textile industry in New Delhi. The result is empowered women who can help transform their communities. We are proud to partner with Work+Shelter on our hard goods such as our tote bags and aprons.
Heartland Health Center
Heartland Health Centers is a federally qualified health center with currently 16 locations in the Chicago area. It’s mission is to improve the well-being of the communities it serves through providing high-quality and accessible health care options. Heartland Health Centers serve Chicago’s north side and nearby subburbs with affordable primary car, mental health services, and oral care.
TACA (Talk About Curing Autism)
TACA is a national non-profit organization dedicated to providing resources to families affected by autism. Among its many activities, TACA endeavors to provide support to parents and children by speeding up the time from diagnosis to treatment, by organizing parent mentors, by providing accessible educational resources to the autism community, and by spreading a message of hope.
Project Linus
Project Linus is a 100% volunteer, non profit organization, with a two-fold mission: first, to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, homemade blankets and afghans, lovingly created by volunteer “blanketeers”. Second, to provide a rewarding and fun service opportunity for interested individuals and groups in local communities, for the benefit of children.

Alzheimer’s Association
The Alzheimer’s Association was formed in 1980 and helps to works on two fronts: to advance research into Alzheimer’s and dementia, and to provide enhanced support for those living with the disease. As a patient advocate, support provider, and non-profit fundraiser for research, the Alzheimer’s Association carries forward its commitment to understanding, treating, preventing, and one day curing this disease.
Anti-Cruelty Society
The Anti-Cruelty Society is an organization dedicated to animal welfare in the Chicago area. It is a not-for-profit organization that works to prevent cruelty to animals and to promote humane treatment of all creatures. The clinic performs spay/neuter surgeries and the shelter finds new homes for abandoned animals. TIK counts among it’s “family” several dogs, and we’re happy to support the care of this vulnerable group.
Urban Prairie Waldorf School
UPWS is a private, not-for-profit Waldorf school located in Chicago and dedicated to educating children in a developmentally appropriate and engaging way, thus fostering a love of learning, capable and strong individuals, and civic mindedness in our youth. Peg’s children both attend Urban Prairie and we’re proud to support their school.
