Taormina Culinary Vacations

The main square in Taormina during a culinary tour of SicilySituated high above the Ionian Sea on Sicily’s eastern coast, the ancient city of Taormina is a picturesque place that has inspired artists, writers, and tourists for centuries. And it is your home for one of our best culinary tours!

The breathtaking view of the sea isn’t the only thing to love about this magical city. The town has been called the “greatest work of art and nature”, according to Goethe, and with its Greek colonial ruins, mild climate, and snow-capped Mount Etna, it’s not hard to see why.

Stroll along the quaint streets, stop for an apertitif in the main square, and use it as a home base for an exploration of the island of Sicily on our Taormina cooking vacations. Whether you are exploring the local markets, enjoying wine-tasting tours of local wines, or cooking such specialties as “pasta alla norma,” “arancini,” and “cannoli” during your hands-on Taormina cooking classes, Sicily’s eastern cost will enchant you and your tastebuds!

Discover this paradise on our Taormina culinary tours with TIK!

The cooking classes were perfect. The chefs were so much fun and provided so much philosophical knowledge about cooking and eating local and fresh foods, in addition to their culinary skills... Overall, all the tours were great. Patrick was an incredible driver and so energetic and upbeat all the time, even in crazy traffic! The local guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. The Godfather tour will stand out just because of our host and how gracious he was. Wineries and meals there were amazing... I would definitely recommend the International Kitchen to friends and would love to do another trip myself. Marilyn R., CA
