What to Expect in Our Cooking Vacations and Wine Tours in Spain

Here are some frequent questions our culinary travelers ask when booking our culinary vacations and private tours in Spain:

What types of excursions will we find on your Spain foodie tours and wine tours in Spain?

Our gastronomic tours of Spain include foodie excursions but also visits to cultural sites. The specific activities will depend on the region: you might visit a farm that produces jamon or local cheese, or a fish market by the sea, or an olive grove and press on one of our culinary vacations in Spain. But you might also visit local museums and monuments – from Madrid’s Prado to Bilbao’s Guggenheim, from Barcelona’s Sagrada Familia to Granada’s Alhambra Palace.

What if I am more interested in wine tourism in Spain? Do you offer wine tours in Spain as well?

Our Spain luxury trips, in general, include a strong wine component – it is an intrinsic part of Spanish gastronomy. If you are looking for wine tours in Spain you will find on our tours visits to local wineries with wine tastings, such as of Txakoli and Rioja wines in the north, Priorat wines in Catalonia, and of course sherry in Jerez. Wine tourism in Spain has grown increasingly popular over the past years, and it is a great part of our cooking vacations in Spain.
