Travel agents: how to book a Vacation for your client(s)

  • In booking a trip you are agreeing, on behalf of your client(s), to accept our Terms and Conditions. Make sure you are familiar with them.
  • A non-refundable US$500 per person deposit is required to book a cooking vacation, and a non-refundable US$1000 per person deposit is required to book an opera and cuisine vacation. Note that some cooking vacations require more than $500 deposit, please see individual programs for deposit amounts. This amount can be charged to your client’s Visa, MC, or AmEx, or you can send us an agency check. Final payment will be due by net agency check 60 days prior to the program start date (90 days prior for an Opera Vacation).
  • A program is considered available if it is not showing “Sold Out”. We confirm when we have the booking form with client’s Visa, MC or AmEx for deposit. No deposit or payment will be processed until their participation has been confirmed.
  • If the program date is 60 days or less from the time of request (90 days or less if an opera and cuisine vacation), full payment is required immediately by net agency check.
  • If the program date is 14 days or less from the time of request, full payment is required by FEDEXED net agency check, along with a late booking fee of US$100-$200 per person.

This is a reduced rate for a traveling companion who does not wish to participate in any of the cooking lessons. If you are interested in the non-cooking rate and it is not posted, please inquire via email or telephone.

All prices are based on 2 people in a room. The single supplement covers the cost of a solo person in a room. Please consult the individual cooking vacation pages for prices.

Your non-refundable deposit will be processed immediately upon confirmation. For non-U.S. residents, the balance will automatically be charged 60 days prior to the program start date to the credit card that was supplied for the deposit, unless the client makes other arrangements with The International Kitchen at least two weeks before final payment is due.
